My favorite 3 photos of 2007

This may end up growing but since I was posting them elsewhere I thought this would be a good place for them too. In the new year I will be taking part in a challenge to take one picture every day for 365 days. I've hopes that not only will I be able to stick with it - but I think it will give me something to work on where I can grow in my photography. So here they are - my favorite three - not necessarily the best technically but my favorites.

One of those days when I wish I could take pictures all day rather than work. Last week my husband tackled a DIY Ringlight Project. Here's my favorite picture of our first try with it. The catchlights may not be to everyone's taste but I kind of like them. I plan on making some modifications to the light to make the light in the eyes more of a ring rather than the dotted line.

Recently created a "day in the life of" picture journal for Hunter. Was actually pretty happy with many of the snapshots I got. Still getting used to the speedlight but many of them were almost portrait worthy.

I've been interested in photography for years but only recently with the birth of my son have I become one of those MWACs *Mom with a Camera*. It's pushed me to try different things and there are so many others in my life and online who have inspired me with their creativity to try more than just my kid. This is a place to post some of my journey and hope that one day I can inspire others as they have inspired me.
