Hunter continued with the "ta-dah-ing" today. And I just found out that when my dear husband took Hunter out to run errands yesterday that he took Hunter with the underwear hat on! My son was running around the city with underwear on his head! I'm mortified!

6/365 "The secret"
Adelle got her shots today. She's not as gracious about those sorts of things as her brother was. Daddy makes everything better though.
6/365 - Hunter "Ta dah"
In an effort to pick back up the potty training again I opened Hunter's sock and new underwear drawer to show him what wonderful and cool big boy underwear he had! His response...to stick them on his head and shout "ta dah!" Where did he learn this word? Maybe his cousins? Anyway - Adelle got a "ta dah" too.

5/365 Adelle
Adelle has been pulling herself up now since New Years Eve. Like good parents the first time she did it we raised the bars on her crib so she wouldn't flip over the edge. During her morning nap I hear screaming from her room. Nothing unusual - I didn't rush up. When I got there I realized she had manged to pull herself up on the much higher crib bars and couldn't figure out how to get back down. Poor girl THEN had to wait while Mommy grabbed her camera...my poor children.

Where to begin...
Hunter was playing with xmas presents upstairs. I was feeding Adelle downstairs. I came up the stairs. Hunter sees me - and takes off running - hands behind his back. Knowing - "this can't be good" I apprehend my son to see a chocolate covered mouth and a chocolate clutched between sticky fingers. I go over to the bowl of chocolates that had been in the living room to see FIVE icy square chocolate wrappers discarded beside the bowl. The sixth was in his hand. His punishment was to sit while I took a picture (and trust me that was punishment!)
After this picture was taken he managed to go on a major chocolate high - very very hyper. He accidentally gave Adelle a black eye in that, didn't nap at all and then the crash a couple hours ago was the melt down of all melt downs. I'm ready to go back to work now.
4/365 Adelle
Adelle playing with Hunter's present (shh don't tell Hunter) while he was elsewhere. Trust me Adelle wouldn't have been able to get this close without him throwing a fit if he had been in the room. This giant puppy from the Houcher's was also a huge hit with my kids!
4/365 Hunter
Playing with Christmas presents. We had Christmas with my family the night before. This was actually Adelle's present from my sister and her family. Hunter has taken over - at least for now. Someday maybe he'll realize that boys don't play with pink dollhouses! Notice the puppy he's put in the window.
